How can you tell if your american girl doll is pre-mattel?
i want to know the difference so i can know if i should spend a little extra on a pre mattel felecity. so please help
Characteristics of PM dolls are as follows:
1. Soft/er eyelashes that match their hair color.
2. Larger and more fully stuffed torsos
3. Larger limbs, feet, and heads
4. Vinyl limbs that are soft and somewhat squishy
5. Some people say the faces of PM dolls have a softer, sweeter expression and that their features are more defined.
6. Many PM dolls do not have body tags.
7. PM dolls are noticeably shorter than Mattel.
Felicity dolls had copper-colored red hair that changed to light auburn a few years after her release in 1991.
