Am I the only person that has beef with The Bratz Dollz?

I have two nieces, one three the other five, and I went to get them some presents, (Cause I am a kick @ss uncle like that), and wandered upon the popular Bratz Dollz.

Who the hell wants their young daughters to dress and impersonate this kind of life style? Sorry, maybe I am just old fashioned, but excessive make-up, skanky clothes, and skin tight jeans are just not an image I want my nieces to start to imitate. Before anyone thinks that I am being to analytical over this situation, ask yourself, "When I went to town, how many little girls did I see dressed similar to prostitutes?"

What are your opinons on this subject?

You are DEFINITELY not the only one.

Sexualizing young children (whether passively via doll rolemodels or actively via clothing/expectations, etc) has already netted us atrocious consequences as a society. How much more of this can we expect if "Bratz"-type dolls continue to serve as rolemodels for dress/behavior?
