Argh! the role-model dolls for little girls?
With the recent Bratz Movie coming out, I am wondering why anyone likes these dolls and would buy them for their young girls. I grew up with Barbie (before the "realistic measurements") and American Girl Dolls which I think are the healthiest of all doll role-models. Now Barbie has "become more real-like" yet still has horrible clothing. We have Bratz and Disney Princesses and My Scene Barbie, whose lips are not far behind The Bratz. What message are we hoping to send to them and then can we really sit back later and complain when 10 year old girls are wearing playboy bunny thongs?
American Girl dolls at least weren't slutty.
Bratz are pathetic! I can't believe they are still around and purchased. What mother would let her daughter look like a slut?
They aren't attractive and like Barbie they are abnormal in their appearance.
