ok, i am 5months prego and i bought our soon to be 6yr old boy a Cabbage Patch Kid. I bought it to teach our son how to change diapers, burp etc.. hold the baby, my husband, says that our son shouldn't play with 'dolls' and if we are having a girl, she can play with 'boy' toys. i didn't buy him a 'doll' but a teaching tool. my hubby and neighbor and brother in law are all having a freakin cow over a cabbage patch kid!!!
i just want him to learn it incase i need him to help me sometimes. my hubby works 24/7 and i would more than likely need him to help had me wipes etc... i dont see how its OK for a girl to play with boy toys, but not a boy to play with 1 freakin cabbage patch kid! its not a barbie!!!when i was a kid, EVERY kid, boy and girl, had a cabbage patch kid!!!!
and i dont care if he is gay or not! playing with dolls doesn't NOT make you gay!!! retard
You had a stupid idea.
Maybe with a paid professional that could teach a SIX YEAR OLD how to handle a baby could your kid learn to handle babies. But certainly not with a random toy that makes your son look like a weenie.
Neither side should be upset or anything, though. =o
And of course it's sexist. What else do you do about a boy doing something that more of an amount of girls do than boys? Say it's manly? =)
