Why are fashion fever dolls so weird looking?
Many people love these dolls and do not think that their malproportioned bodies are at all odd.
Their heads are huge, their hair unruly, they have little tiny shoulders and no breasts and rather big hips and legs in comparison to the shoulder size. Their feet are like dangly little rubbery appendages. If this is a fashion statement or an attempt to embody what is sought after in the fashion world, you could have fooled me. Maybe on another planet, i.e. mars. They do have a slight resemblence to those aliens that landed in Roswell, New Mexico back when. LOL. What happened to the old Barbie? She was pretty, intelligent, had impeccable taste in fashion and was of high moral character?
I agree somewhat, but Barbie wasn't realistically proportional either. According to doctors, her waist was too tiny to support the rest of her frame.
