Are American Girl dolls fun to play with and to love?
I've had a doll before but it kinda got forgotten about because it was from a small brand name (and because I didn't have enough money to buy an American girl doll). But now, I have enough, but my mom says I wouldn't play with it. Please help!
Well, I enjoy my AG dolls and I'm 15. My mom said the the same thing when I saved up for my first AG doll in third grade. (I was never really a doll person before that.) It's really fun to dress them up and make little "real life" scenes with them. Then you can take a picture and keep the pictures in an album. If you are at all crafty, you can make accessories (like food, jewelry, etc...) for the doll. If you sew, you can make some new doll clothes. If you eventually grow out of your doll (hope you won't!), they make great display objects.
BTW, you're NEVER too old for AG dolls. There are some adults who actually play with their dolls (like in the ways I described!!)
