Miss Thing (and I say that in the most respectful, Christian way) came to Jackson for the Crossroads Film Festival. We were treated to an "Inside the Actor's Studio" type interview Saturday where we heard juicy Hollywood stories and laughed because Joey Lauren Adams is a funny, honest artist.

The movie she both wrote and directed, "Come Early Morning," screened Saturday night. I plan to review later on the MPB Writer's Blog. Suffice to say, it was southern literature with a woman's voice. My kind of writing AND movie. The movie stars Ashley Judd by the way.





And here's to vanity! Yes, it's the "Chasing Amy," but now writer, chick. She's gorgeous and I hate to see my mug next to her beautiful skin, but not so much to not show you :)
